Atlascine is an open-source online platform for annotating, mapping, and exploring transcribed audiovisual media. It enables the geographical and thematic visualization of stories through an interactive map, offering innovative ways to navigate within and across narratives. By foregrounding spatial relationships and trajectories, Atlascine facilitates the analysis of how stories unfold across places. The platform has been used both as a research and exhibition tool in fields such as oral history, film studies, and urban studies, and is well suited to qualitative research projects and story-based public exhibitions.

Nouvel atlas à venir - L'atlas des paroles de femmes oubliées
Nous venons de recevoir un financement du CRSH (Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines) en partenariat avec la Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ, Caroline Malo) pour développer un nouvel atlas avec Atlascine - L'atlas des paroles de femmes oubliées - qui mettra en valeur une vingtaine d'entrevues réalisées avec des femmes ainées québécoises vivant en milieu rural ou en dehors des grands centres urbains. Cet atlas devrait être finalisé au printemps 2027.
